Title         Wild Honeysuckle on a Warm Day
Medium  oil on hand-primed fine grain linen
Size          25cmx20cm

Year         exhibit 2013

Honeysuckle grows abundantly down the lane on which I live in summertime.
I painted this work, my second of two honeysuckle paintings, directly from life in warm sunshine after rain.
I exhibited both paintings in a group exhibition titled "On the Other Side of Les Fleurs du Mal". The exhibition at the
Fenderesky Gallery in Belfast was based on the concept of flowers and around
 the poetry of Charles Baudelaire.

This  painting was exhibited at the Fenderesky Gallery in Belfast in late 2013.
